Awareness will be spread through social media
Today, as everyone is battling the Corona epidemic, the SCARD organization (Social Collective Action for Research and Development) has launched a campaign called “Exercise India Fit India” under which social media, webinars, and workshops will be made to give this thing that if you are fit, then you can easily cope with the troublesome times like Corona period.
According to Dr. Vipin Agnihotri, President of SCARD, even though there is increased awareness about fitness today, there is still plenty of scope for improvement especially when we talk about today’s youngsters who spend their time in pubs, lounges and restaurants instead of fitness.
Eminent social activist and brand ambassador of this campaign, Dr. Suksanksha Arya is very happy to join this campaign and she is hopeful that she will be able to inspire the youth. Sukansha said, India cannot be on the path of development until the youth, especially women, are aware that it is impossible to succeed in today’s age until and unless your fitness level is up to the mark.
Before starting this campaign, Dr. Vipin Agnihotri and Dr. Sukansha Arya conducted a survey on 500 people, in which it was revealed that for 65 percent people, exercising is only a show off. More than 72 percent peopl don’t know the right way to exercise.
In the initial phase of the campaign, Dr. Vipin and Dr. Sukansha will put basic videos of exercise and fitness on social media and make people realize how fitness can bring positiveness in their physical and mental condition.
