In the Dalibagh auditorium of the Theater and Film Welfare Association, film actress Twinkle Kapoor has given financial assistance of Rs. 5 lakh to the association by appreciating the support given by the association to the artists even during the Corona period.
Theater and Film Welfare Association President Dr. Vipin Agnihotri and Secretary Dabir Siddiqui said that theater plays an important role in spreading the country’s advanced culture abroad and towards public awakening, but by “quarantining the Rangkarma”, the artists are in pretty dismal state.
The artists of Rangkarma are not being given any help from the government. The auditoriums are also closed.
The artist of Rangkarma is self-respecting by nature, so they are not able to express their needs. In such a situation, Twinkle Kapoor herself has come forward and has given financial assistance of five lakh rupees. Our association expresses her gratitude.
On this occasion, noted artist Twinkle Kapoor said that this sequence will continue even further and he also appealed to the common people to help the needy artists as much as possible.
Reema Paswan, president of the Youth Wing of the Theater and Film Welfare Association was also present on the occasion.
